The DiscoverSea Shipwreck Museum displays an evolving exhibit of shipwreck and recovered artifacts, among the largest in the Mid-Atlantic. The museum's free admission is made possible by owner contributions and public donations.

This restored station was built in 1876 for use by the United States Lifesaving Service, a government organization created to respond to the alarming number of shipwrecks along the coastlines of the United States. Tours and activities are held throughout the year.
